The Afikim Ultra-Lite Wheelchair is one of the lightest weight wheelchair choices available weighing only 11kg. It is easy to maneuver and lift into your vehicle.

This wheelchair can be either self-propelled or attendant propelled. It includes a handy fold down back to make it more compact for putting in a vehicle, solid tyres (puncture-proof!) and is incredibly lightweight. The swing away footrests and large wheels are removable for added compactness and the lightest lift imaginable!

The Afikim Ultra-Lite Wheelchair has attendant hand brakes for the person pushing the chair to operate and ensure safe speed control. This can be especially useful on steep inclines and declines. This is often overlooked and an important feature to keep in mind when selecting a wheelchair.

Quite uniquely it also has carry handles allow you to grab it and carry it easily when folded. It is light but robust, so you can pick it up with the carry handles, or arm rests when folded. 

This Afikim Ultra-Lite Wheelchair has full-length armrests, keeping your arms comfortable when you are resting in the chair. The seat is nicely cushioned for short or longer transit times and removable for periodic cleaning.
